If I am in need of a comforting, quick and easy weeknight meal, this is one of my go to recipes. It is very hearty, and a crowd pleaser for sure. So, we just finished up the kiddos Fall Break, and man I am exhausted! Honestly, we had a great time! It was a nice break from the regular routine, and the kids got to make some adventures of their own. We have now settled back into our daily life of schedules, sports practices and games, homework, meal prep…you know the drill.
Now that things have calmed a bit, I noticed something…It is definitely starting to look and feel a lot like Fall around here, and I got a CRAVING! I just had to have some ooey gooey caramel popcorn balls! So, I got to cooking.
These caramel popcorn balls are super easy to make, and they are kid friendly too. So get those little helpers in the kitchen, and make these fantastic treats!

This is mostly because when I refer to him as being the oldest, he is a grand total of 6 years old. I mean, what 6 year old is walking around thinking that they should receive an allowance?
We have always expected certain behaviors and actions from our kiddos, but I truly had not even pondered an actual allowance. So, I brought this new found information to my husband, and we had the great discussion. Because you know, we are #winning at this adult thing! 😉
