One of my favorite things to do during the Holiday season is to decorate! And, as you know, I LOVE a DIY project. I thought I would share with you my newest creation…a Moss Wrapped Gift. I was really wanting to make something natural and festive. I am always inspired by nature, and ways to incorporate it into anything possible. So the gears started turning, and this is what I created. I hope you love this idea as much as I do. I have provided step by step instructions for you, and honestly this is a really easy project. Like super easy! Let me know what you think with a comment below. Enjoy! XO

Supplies: Moss Sheets or a Roll of Moss (I used one roll for a medium size box)

Kraft boxes Hot glue…lots of hot glue

Now you will need to start gluing the moss to the top.

When gluing up the sides, I like to make cuts into the edges of the moss. I find this to make gluing the corners a bit easier.

Trim any excess moss, and the top of the box should now look like this.

Now, let’s get started on the box. You will do the exact same process as the top. Simply glue the moss to the sides and bottom of the box.

When going around the edges of the box toward the bottom, you may find some gaps in the moss. Don’t worry! You can add some small strips of moss to fill in the gaps. I promise once you glue it in the spaces, you will never notice it’s even there. The moss blends beautifully!

You may have to shake the box a bit to get your top on the box. Don’t go crazy getting the top on, but you don’t have to be super gentle either. Your completed box should look something like this.

I finished my box with a pretty turquoise ribbon, as this is our Christmas color scheme. I think this would be lovely in burlap ribbon as well. Feel free to dress this up as you wish, and make it your own! XO
