Okay confession time…I HATE grocery shopping! I know, I know…this was a deep dark secret held close to the vest for a very long time. But then I started talking with other moms, and guess what ALOT of them HATE it too!
Don’t get me wrong, I used to love to walk the aisles, take in all of the beautiful produce, sweetly smell each delicious fruit. Sweet memories! Now it’s a whirlwind of grabby hands, silent prayers that my children do not have a complete meltdown, rushing through the aisles with lightning speed, and inevitably forgetting something because I am just trying to make it through the chaos unscathed. Seriously, I feel the anxiety of a shopping trip just typing this! #Momhood
Well, let me tell you, I have discovered a total game changer! Kroger ClickList!!! (Insert angels singing a beautiful chorus)
Y’all this is genuinely the best thing ever for grocery shopping. You simply place your order online, select a pick up time, and the lovely employees bring it to your car! What?!?
You mean I don’t have to take my wonderfully crazed children into the store? You mean I can order my groceries from the convenience of my own home? You mean I don’t have to put groceries in my car, while simultaneously figuring out the best way load the kiddos, and dodge that car that ALWAYS wants the parking spot next to mine while all of my car doors are open? Yes!
Here is how it works:
Kroger ClickList will cost you a $5 charge for the service. I firmly believe this is well worth the cost, but still wanted to share. 🙂
First you will need to Sign In or Register an account with Kroger.
Next, you will need to find your store. Then, you will select ClickList.
Select all of the items that you need, and add them to your cart. There are over 40,000 items to select from, and searching for them is very user friendly. Also, the more you use ClickList you will have your most frequently purchased items listed for you!
Another great feature of ClickList, is that the website allows you to leave notes on any of your items. For instance, I want to purchase avocados, but I won’t be using them immediately. The website allows me to leave a note, stating that I would like the avocados to not be too ripe.
Once you are finished, you will select your pick up date and time, and submit your order. Another great feature of ClickList is that if you forget something, you will have until midnight the day before your pick up to make any updates. Isn’t that awesome?
Now you just wait for your pick up time, and then head to Kroger. There will be a special ClickList section of parking spaces. Pull into a space, and then call the number listed. The lovely employee will bring your groceries, and you will pay for them at that time.
As a very busy mommy I am always looking for tips and tricks to help ease my load. Kroger ClickList has genuinely saved me so much time, and removed all dread from my life of going grocery shopping! It has also taken away impulse shopping, because I’m not actually in the store with all of the shiny things staring at me…we see you M&M’s!
Let me know if you try the ClickList service, and if you love it as much as I do!
