How To Make No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Our whole family devours this easy dessert, and I know yours will too!

This no bake peanut butter pie uses a delicious Oreo crust, and adds in some extra chocolate too. Because, duh peanut butter and chocolate are a glorious combination. Don’t you think?

And, you will top this pie with some crushed peanuts to add a bit of crunch too. I am telling you. The chocolate drizzle with an added crunch is seriously the best thing EVER!

With that, let’s get started on making the no bake peanut butter pie.

Place ⅔ of the Oreo cookies, or 2 rows, into your food processor or blender. Pulse or blend on low until the Oreo cookies are finely crushed.

Melt 5 tbsp of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat butter in 10-15 second intervals until it is completely melted.

Next, pour the butter into the Oreo mixture in your blender or food processor. Pulse until well blended.

Pour the Oreo mixture into your pie plate or disposable pie tin. My absolute favorite pie plate is this one. But, keeping it real. I LOVE me a disposable pie pan too! So feel free to grab one at the store!

Once you have dumped the mixture into the pie pan, you can spread it out with your fingers. Press firmly on the crust with your hands too. It should look something like this.

Please do not worry about making the crust ‘perfect’. One, there is no such thing. Two, ummm no one is going to care once they see AND taste this finished pie. Trust me on this! 😉

Once you have finished pressing the Oreo crust, place it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to allow it to set.

While the Oreo crust is setting, let’s get started on the absolutely delicious peanut butter filling!

Place peanut butter and one stick of softened butter into your mixing bowl. You can use a stand mixer or hand mixer for the no bake peanut butter pie filling. See, this recipe is easy peasy and flexible!

Mix the peanut butter and butter until well blended.

Next, add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.

Now, grab the Oreo pie crust out of the freezer. And, add the peanut butter mixture to the crust. Be sure to spread as evenly as possible. It should look something like this.

Now place the pie back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to set.

While the pie is setting, it is time to get the chocolate drizzle and crushed peanuts ready.

If you are having a tough day, and working through some strong emotions then you will love getting the peanuts ready!

Simply place them in a ziploc bag, and give them a good whack! You don’t need to get total crush happy here. You basically want to make the peanuts bite sized enough to keep the taste buds happy.

Now, you will get started on making the chocolate drizzle.

Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals until melted. Stir as needed.

Once the chocolate chips are completely melted add in the vegetable oil. Stir well.

Remove pie from the freezer, and do 3-5 drizzles of chocolate onto pie. You can do this by dipping the spoon into chocolate and then drizzle back and forth onto pie. (Pro tip: allow the first big dollop to fall from spoon before drizzling onto pie.)

Next, add the peanuts onto the entire pie. And, just because…add a few more chocolate drizzles onto the pie.

Refrigerate no bake peanut butter pie for at least one hour, or until ready to serve.
