10 Reasons Why You Are Handling Motherhood Like A Boss

1. You are a lack of sleep machine!

Let’s think back to pre kiddos. Do you remember the days when you would say that you were SO tired? Can we collectively laugh about this?!?

I never truly knew what tired was until I had children.

But, here’s the thing, no matter how exhausted we are, we get up and handle our business. It does not matter how tired we are, if our kiddos need us…no matter what time of day or night…we are there. EV.ER.Y.TIME

We can tackle anything and everything with our magical cup cups of deliciousness. So bring it on #MomLife…we got your number!

3. You are a multi tasking machine!

You can get dinner ready with a baby on your hip, and a toddler at your feet. All while on the phone scheduling an appointment, moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer, unloading the dishwasher, and solving the one hundredth crisis of the day from said toddler at your feet.

Honor and respect your ninja skills mama! I mean, that is some pretty epic and amazing stuff amazing lady. 😉

4. You make stunt car driving look easy!

So there you are, just trying to make it to your destination. The baby is screaming, and the toddler needs their snack right NOW! You have listened to the same song play a bajillion times…I’m talking to you MOANA soundtrack. 😉 AND, you are are balancing a cup of coffee while either completely stuck in gridlock traffic, or trying to keep up the pace, while passing snacks and toys to the tiny passengers in the back seat.

I am pretty certain that driving your car through flaming hoops of fire would be a piece of cake compared to our daily drives through the landmine of tantrums and toddlers necessities. Am I right?

5. You appreciate the little things!

A warm cup of coffee is a magical treat. Getting to eat an actual meal, uninterrupted I might add, will keep a smile on your face for days! Going to the bathroom alone, with no one knocking on the door or screaming Mom for the one millionth time, is right up there with a night at the Four Seasons.

At this point you have been broken down to bare basics. A trip to Target alone…and you are sashaying down those aisles like it’s the Red Carpet!

Mama you have enough snacks in your bag, the diaper bag, and the floor of your car to feed your tiny army for months! Let’s be real…if something goes down, you will not starve.

7. You have crazy negotiating skills!

How many people can have repeated conversations about which sippy cup is the right one? Or, that we need to put clothes on before leaving the house? Or, that we do in fact need to stop putting our shoes in the toilet?

I feel confident you could put the best negotiator to shame!

Motherhood is tough stuff. You never know if you are actually getting it right, or what exactly you have accomplished that day.

Plus, I most closely resemble a castoff from The Walking Dead most days. Today, I made it through Trader’s Joe’s in less than twenty minutes with my toddler. I worked that store like I was participating in a triathlon. However, the rest of the day has been very long with a toddler who refused to nap, so thank you very much for making me laugh at the end of a loooonnnnngggg day!
