The easiest way to making desserts healthier is by swapping out ingredients. A simple example is to swap out white sugar and unhealthy oils. Begin using coconut sugar or pure maple syrup as a sweetener. And use coconut oil or olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Making small changes like these can go a long way in helping you reach your goals.
And that’s what makes this Gluten Free Berry Crisp so good: it uses simple ingredients that are waist friendly!
But, you want to know what makes this dessert even better?! It can even be enjoyed as breakfast! Yup. It’s true. This Gluten Free Berry Crisp is the perfect dessert and a great option for breakfast too. It’s sweetened with just a bit of pure maple syrup so go ahead and eat it guilt free.
This is one of the most versatile recipes you’ll come across. Only have blueberries on hand? Or maybe you like almonds better? Feel free to add whatever you like to make it your own.
But don’t let your imagination stop there. The crisp topping is perfect for an apple crisp too!
